It was good to hear from our good friend Rami Khader with news of a new project that he is helping get off the ground in Bethlehem. Rami has had discussions with Palestinian women who aim to set up a cooperative bakery in Bethlehem, which employs vulnerable women from across the West Bank. 
Rami said, “I am working as an individual with 7 women who have been abused and we came up with an idea, after many discussions, that we want to start a cooperative (The bakery) and also train women in remote areas who are going through a hard time to become bakers, including bread and pastries and to open micro initiatives from home using technology to sell their products.”
