The grand total made at our recent Quiz Night amounts to £1492.00! Way beyond our expectations. Thanks to all who contributed to the evening and took part in the Quiz. As well as ticket sales we raised income from the raffle, with gifts generously given my local traders and the sale of Palestinian oil, dates and za’tar . These come from Zaytoun a company that promotes fair traded Palestinian products to help the much damaged Palestinian economy. This is a way we can all support Palestinians. It is easy to order goods for your community, school, church and raise awareness about Palestine too. We used Palestinian olive oil and almonds in the food we prepared, including the Almond and Citrus cake – why not try this for yourself!
